About the Design

Math Medic Foundation (MMF) was founded by Lindsey Gallas and Luke Wilcox in 2021. As classroom teachers for many years, Lindsey and Luke set out to transform math education by creating Math Medic, a website that provides teachers with high-quality lessons and engaging workshops. Through the work of supporting math teachers around the world, they were consistently reminded how some students, teachers, and schools do not have access to resources needed for productive math classrooms. This is why they started the MMF.

Our mission is fullfilled in three ways:
1. By awarding scholarships to students pursuing math-related endeavors
2. By providing grants to teachers for high-quality professional development
3. By supporting schools that are in need of math-related resources

It features two layers of cloth and adjustable ear loops with silicone beads for the perfect fit. One size to fit most faces, mask measures approximately 7.25 x 4.625-inches to cover both your nose and your mouth. Printed on one side with a white backside. Reusable and machine washable, all masks should be properly sanitized after each use per CDC guidelines. A portion of proceeds that Threadless earns for each sale of these masks, up to a $750K maximum donation, is being donated to MedShare, a humanitarian aid non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of people, communities, and our planet. MedShare sources and directly delivers surplus medical supplies and equipment to communities in need around the world. Washing Recommendations Hand wash or machine-wash in cold water using an all-purpose detergent between each wearing. Tumble-dry at a low temperature setting. Do not use fabric softener or overly dry. For additional cleaning, use a steam cleaner or the steam setting on your iron. Press or steam clean both sides at a moderate temperature. Note: This mask is NOT intended for medical or healthcare workers, and should not be confused with N95 respirators or other personal protective equipment (PPE). No warranties, either express or implied, are being made that these face masks prevent infection or the transmission of viruses or diseases.
